Academics

The certificate programs at The Equippers Theological Institute is designed for Christian Ministry Leaders, layperson, or volunteers who desires a flexible and less demanding course of study that will provide a general knowledge of the Bible, theology and life skills.

 

The BSC Certificate Program is also ideal for those who want to be further equipped but do not wish to enter a formal undergraduate degree program at this time.

 

Courses are offered in an 8 week format. Students will attend class one night a week for 2 hours. Elective & Spiritual Formation courses will be offered in a 5 week format. Depending on the need, classes can be extended up to 10-weeks, and churches can request a separate customized teaching track (Select a Course) for their ministry leaders/members (additional fees may apply).

Biblical Studies Certificate (BSC) – 74 Hours

 

The Biblical Studies Certificate is designed to equip Christian leaders in the area of spiritual formation, and to provide specific instruction in the structure and theology of the Bible.

The Teacher's Training Certificate is designed to equip teachers in the area of spiritual formation, and to provide specific instruction on the techniques of biblical interpretation, preparation and presentation.

In addition to the core course selection schedule, churches can also take advantage of our "Select a Course" program. Whether the need is for specialized ministry training in a specific ministry area, or more in-depth teaching on a special topic, the "Select a Course" program allows churches to provide a special/individual course selection for their Ministry Leaders or congregation.
